Poem: This Storm Will Pass

In the middle
of a rainstorm
the earth
trembles
as the thunder
crashes in
the heavens
and the rain
rattles the leaves
of the forest
canopy
from the
cowering birds
to the
shivering tulips
they all wait
for the storm
to pass.
