The black cats  with orange eyes  insist they are  supremely lucky  and that they suffer  from centuries of  bad public relations  from humans  who don't understand them The black cats with orange eyes grow protective of their various owners who feed and care for their daily living so they reward them with utmost loyalty and stalwart protection.

The cat  leaves its tracks  in the studio  paw prints  of many colors  on the newly washed floor  out from the studio  a swirling wave  of wet paint  ignorant of their new slippers they leave their mark fainter and fainter the trail is harder to see as time goes on they turn the house  into a canvas  for a feline masterpiece

The goddess  of cats  surrounded  by purring  felines who gather at their bowls every day only the best fills their stomachs the fresh cream sates their thirst they pull her chariot willingly lie in her arms for comfort they are quick  to defend her  should she  be threatened  their claws  rend flesh  and bone  asunder do not disdain the lady of cats for she has the power.  

Soft and sweet kitty feet I miss the sound Twenty years past falling leaves eyes trained on its flight purr on my lap cures the world's ills force me to consider times have changed years have gone by these old bones are heavy when the rainbow bridge appears at my feet you're in the other side
