Poem: Cats Teach Us So Much

-

What I've learned 
from cats: 

do not settle 
for anything less 

rest and relaxation 
keeps you nimble 

falling leaves 
outside the window 
is all the entertainment 
you really need 

food always there
water always filled
the sound of treat bag
is a rallying cry

affection in small doses 
when you want them 

we're all from royalty 
and should be respected

Jumbled up letters  I sort them  to spell out  all kinds  of words to reflect  how I feel  inside  sometimes I see an idea and dash off my response no frills just raw intuition other times I think on form and structure like some  sort of scaffold for building an airtight alibi some of these are only  approximations and are not  as precise  as they could be  but that's okay.
