Poem: A Lady Named Helene

Sun breaks through clouds
dark and forbidding
on the horizon.
It's dark inside
fallen trees on the road
lights are all out.
running on twenty percent
on my phone.
But we should respect
the power and the anger
of a lady named Helene.
